This is a wonderful time of year in our school systems. Outside activities are taking place. Spring is here and except for the days we have track meets or golf meets scheduled, the weather has been very nice. There are many events and activities taking place at Creek Valley Schools in the month of April, and I encourage all of you to attend as many as possible. I would also encourage you to communicate with your son or daughter on how important it is to keep working hard on their academic requirements.
............The school year will come to a close in just seven weeks, but there are still many important goals and objectives to be met in the classroom. These last few weeks of school will make a difference in our students’ futures. Everything from earning a college scholarship to competing in activities, to attending school functions will be affected by the academic performance of students in the month to follow. Just as a strong finish is important in any race or performance, it is even more important in the academic lives of our students.
