Graduation Year:  2010

Analysis of Data:  50% of 8th Grade special education students scored in the lowest quartile (0-24 %-ile) on the  2006 Terra Nova.  All of the females in 8th grade scored in the top two quartiles (50-99 %-ile).

Interpretation of Data Students receiving special education services are not achieving at an expected level in 8th grade.  This raises immediate concern for intervention in reading skills and strategies.  In addition, the male students in this grade level are not performing as highly in reading as female students.
