Interpretation of Data:
It appears as though math is a relative strength in the upper elementary. In 2005, the Saxon Math Program was introduced at the elementary level as a intervention to improve math skills. This may be a factor in these higher scores.
Language arts and reading are relative weaknesses for upper elementary students on the Terra Nova.
