Analysis of Data:
Creek Valley 4th graders have nearly an identical proficiency level as the state of Nebraska.
100% of Creek Valley 8th graders were proficient in writing in 2005-2006.
77% of Creek Valley 11th graders were proficient in writing in the 2005-2006 year, 13% lower than the state average of 90%.
Interpretation of Data:
The Creek Valley 11th graders did not perform as well as expected on this assessment. This can possibly be attributed to a difficult prompt for a rural area, students that were unable to learn in the traditional manner, or other external variables (testing on days of games or days following games, etc.). This will be an area of concern.
