Assessment of State Standards:  Reading

Creek Valley Schools:  4th Grade

Analysis of Data:

In the 2004-2005 school year, all 4th grade students met or exceeded the state standard criteria in all standards except for 4.4.1:  Identify information and complete tasks through listening.

In the 2005-2006 school year, all 4th grade students met or exceeded the state standard criteria in all standards except for 4.3.1:  Participate in a group discussion/ask questions/contribute ideas and 4.4.1:  Listening (see above).

Interpretation of Data:

Creek Valley students in 4th grade are performing extremely well in all state standards in reading.  Relative weakness can be detected in listening and group discussion skills, but this can possibly be attributed to testing methods.
