General Science
Grade 9
Length: 1 Year

Explore the basic chemical and physical properties of matter as well as energy related topics. Study will be divided into two separate semesters between introductory chemistry and physics. During the chemistry semester, study will focus on atomic theory and physical/chemical properties of matter. During the physics semester, study will focus on motion, work, and energy concepts.

Earth science concepts will be included throughout the entire year. This will include geology, meteorology, and space science.
