Harry E. Radford

This painting, “GOODBYE UNTIL TOMORROW” was donated to the Chappell school Library in memory of Harry E. Radford by his widow, Addie Radford, and all the children who rode on school bus #3, which he drove.

Dedicated to Harry for his many years of service in showing concern for all the children during any and all adverse weather conditions. The painting depicts the bus plodding through deep snow after leaving off some of the children who are standing by the side of the road and waving to the other children and the driver, “GOODBYE UNTIL TOMORROW”.

Painted especially for this memorial in 1973 by a long-time friend, Curtiss W. Routh of Chappell, Nebraska.
